FOUNDER BACKGROUND
Dr. Johnson Okoth Okello
Dr. Johnson Okoth Okello is a graduate of Law from the university of Nairobi. He holds two masters of Law degrees, (LLM) from the University of Nairobi, MBA from Massachusset University and an MA in Legislative drafting from the University of London and PHD in Legislative Drafting and Policy Development.
Dr. Okello boasts as of the most qualified and experienced legislative drafter in the region. He has widely consulted for various Non-government and Governmental organizations on this area of Law making and is an authority in Law Reform.
In his formative years, Dr. Okello practiced law in the law firm of KAGUCIA & KAGUCIA ADVOCATE and he later moved to State Law Offices, in the Law Reform Commission, where through hard work he rose to the position of Senior State Counsel. He has served in various Committees of the East Africa Community and also a member of the team of experts that developed the African Union Legislative Drafting manual.
In his practice, Dr. Okello has acquired immense experience in policy Development and Analysis, Law Reform, Legislative Drafting and Drafting of international agreements/Treaties. He brings into our firm a wealth of experience in commercial transactions law, conveyance, legislative drafting and policy formulation among others, making him the best placed partner in our firm to head Consultancies department.
